Overview
The Isaac Group owns and operates Barracks Quarry in Marlborough which supplies the majority of the river protection rock used on the Marlborough River system.
About the quarry
The quarry produces rock of all sizes from 11T Toe Rock used in the deepest and strongest parts of the Wairau River to AP65, AP40 and AP20 used in many of the subdivisions around the Marlborough Region.
To operate the quarry, we have a 48T digger, 36T digger, loader, two 30T dump trucks, crushing plant, screening plant, drill (along with associated explosives for blasting) with additional gear as required.
The Isaac Group also operates the Marlborough District Council-owned Pukaka Quarry, also a rock quarry that requires drilling and blasting.
